Negative impacts of airports and aviation include land acquisition, noise, air pollution, climate change, water use, and effects on the social structures of local communities. Out of these environmental problems, air pollution cause dire negative pay-offs as the people are exposed to harmful pollutants that emits from the airport environment. The paper makes an attempt to ascertain the types of pollutants that surface in the atmosphere and the effects of it. This paper made use of descriptive research that involved the synthesis of information from secondary sources to portray the attributes of a current phenomenon.
