Solar energy is an answer for creating a sustainable energy production in the future. Recent developments in organic cell are pointing towards more opportunities in the area. The research was conducted with the end view of informing the authorities the opportunities opened by developments in organic solar cells. This paper made use of descriptive research that involved the synthesis of information from secondary sources to portray the attributes of a current phenomenon. Secondary data analysis was conducted briefly to study regarding the recent researches on solar cells.
